New Podcast: Congressional Oversight of the Intelligence Community (with a Special Guest)

June 7, 2010

POGO recently released a podcast featuring special guest Steven Aftergood (of the Federation of American Scientists and Secrecy News) for a discussion of congressional oversight of the intelligence community.

Aftergood provides analysis of the latest developments in the issue, talks about the importance of Congressional oversight in this sector, and explains why one room at the National Security Agency delegated for the Government Accountability Office is unoccupied.

Founded in 1981, the Project On Government Oversight (POGO) is a nonpartisan independent watchdog that champions good government reforms. POGO's investigations into corruption, misconduct, and conflicts of interest achieve a more effective, accountable, open, and ethical federal government.
